How eBookwise Works:
- Register
for Free: By registering at eBookwise, you gain
access to all eBooks on the eBookwise site. Registered members
who sign up for our email newsletters will receive discounts
and special promotions. Your privacy
is completely guaranteed.
- Make sure you have a compatible device. The eBookwise-1150 works with our eBooks. Owners of the GEB 1150, GEB 2150, and REB 1200 are also able to purchase new content for for their Gemstar or
RCA eBook reading device. To take advantage of this opportunity,
your eBook device will need to be migrated to a new Online Bookshelf. Click

- Register your Device ID with eBookwise After confirming
that you own a compatible device, register the device's ID with our
system. For complete instructions click here.
- Search for eBooks: On the left side of
most pages at eBookwise are various search options, including
search by keyword, search by genre (e.g., science fiction, fantasy,
nonfiction, etc.), or search by browsing various categories (e.g.,
Authors, Award-Winners, Best Sellers, New eBooks, etc.).
- Purchasing eBooks: To purchase, first
add eBooks to your cart. You can purchase with your
credit card (American Express, Visa, Mastercard, or Discover).
Credit card purchases require users to submit a CVV2 code,
which is a special 3 or 4 digit number on the card. Learn more about CVV2.
- Downloading eBooks: Once you have completed
your purchase, make sure your device is connected to the internet,
either via the USB cord or via the phone modem. Then go to your
Online Bookshelf on the eBookwise-1150 to see the titles you
have bought. Select the button next to the eBook you want to
download, and the title will download to your eBookwise-1150's
Bookshelf. Important Note: Once an eBook has been downloaded,
it cannot be refunded or exchanged.
- Changing my account information (email address,
billing address, newsletter options): You can change
your account information here. It is important that your
eBookwise address is the same as the billing address for
the credit card
you use.
If these two addresses do not match, you credit card purchase
may be denied by the company that handles eBookwise's
credit card processing.
