JULIUS' REVENGE by Noemi De Leon
Janey Anderson set aside her latest copy of the Greek-themed romance she had just finished reading, wishing she could find herself a man like the hero in the novel. She wanted someone who would cherish her and love her the right way. The tingly sensations coursing throughout her body caused her cheeks to heighten with color.
The Goddess Artemis, as depicted in the story, was a spoiled brat always seeking to get her way. Thankfully, she was a fictional character and Janey wouldn't be coming across that deity any time soon. She wouldn't really want to.
She knew she was being silly. Artemis was a fictitious character. All the same, Janey could visualize the tall, bronzed men falling at her feet like they had at Artemis' feet. A soft smile played on her lips as she sought slumber.
Her everyday existence was so predictable, that she would jump at the opportunity to meet someone who would make her feel the way Artemis felt with her many lovers.
She could just imagine a man running his fingers up and down her body. Her hand traveled over her peaked breasts and she felt their tight buds as they throbbed with want. Her fingers traveled further down to stop over her mound. She sought out her pleasure button, touching it with soft strokes as she imagined a man's fingers pressing inside her sleek pussy and drawing circular motions over her clit.
In her mind's eye, he would be tall, at about six foot three, raven-dark hair with sea-green eyes. He would have a mouth that offered her the utmost in pleasure.
Janey saw in her mind's eye the man begin to rub her feet, place soft kisses over her arches, and then travel upward over her calf, knees, and thighs until he stopped near her pussy. He would then nuzzle her wet passage, and with a quick flick, she would feel his tongue cover her slit. Janey could almost feel his mouth, now pressed against her, giving her pleasure. Her fingers picked up speed, circling around the hot button, making it throb and convulse in response. She felt the orgasm steal over her, leaving her shaking and breathless.
Janey shifted to her side, wishing again that she did have a man next to her, and not just her imagination and her fingers. She drew the covers over herself and sought sleep, hoping to dream about her Greek God vision.
Before falling asleep, she whispered, "Oh, I wish I could have a man like one Artemis has had." * * * *
Hermes sat on a cloud, gazing down at Janey. Her cute button of a nose, the full, thick mass of auburn curls, and those beautiful breasts would certainly entertain Julius for a while. The more he thought about it, the more the idea appealed to him.
Artemis was clear about not wanting Julius around any longer. The poor man was beside himself. For his talents, Artemis financed him by gifting him with ten million dollars and a condo overlooking Tampa Bay. To Julius, his life had no meaning now.
For some time, Hermes had been looking for a project that would interest Julius, and he thought he'd just found it with Janey. Hermes believed Julius and Janey would fit perfectly. He couldn't help the smile. No time to waste. He'd get right on it.
Hermes popped into Julius' penthouse suite and found the man reading another old, dusty tome. For some strange reason, Julius wanted to educate himself on Greek mythology. He wanted to know everything about the Greek Gods. His specific interest was Artemis. He sought to understand Artemis' way of thinking. Little did Julius know, Artemis was a woman unto herself. No one understood her, and no one should want to try, at least in Hermes' opinion.
"Boy, what are you reading now?" Hermes asked, by way of introduction.
"Hello, Hermes. Just catching up on some reading." Julius shut the book and set it down on a nearby coffee table.
"Are you still trying to learn Artemis' thought process?" Hermes queried. "What makes her think?"
Sheepishly, he looked down. Julius' cheeks heightened in color as he looked away. "Yes, Hermes."
"Boy, give it up. She's not worth it." Hermes shook his head. "I've got another project you might be interested in."
"Yeah, what's that?" Julius leaned back against the sofa, looking steadily at Hermes.
Hermes waved a hand and a thirty-two-inch screen popped in, floating in front of Julius. The screen focused on Janey. They watched as she worked in the library. Then they saw a view of her scouring the aisles, looking at the different volumes and pulling those she needed off the shelf.
Then the scene switched to one of her at home. She sat in a bathtub full of bubbles, looking to be deep in thought. Her head leaned back, her lip caught between her teeth and they heard her moan keening across the room. Then the screen disappeared.
"She obviously needs a man to cherish her." Julius breathed in heavily, shifting in his seat, clearly moved by the scene.
"That's what I was thinking." Hermes smiled as he floated around Julius.
"And you think I'm the candidate for that?" Julius sat back, his fingers in a pyramid under his chin. He watched Hermes' moves carefully. Hermes understood how Julius felt. The raw deal he had received by the Gods--well, mostly by one, Artemis--must have left a sour taste in his mouth, and he wasn't about to jump for joy with this new assignment.
Hermes came closer. "You were given a shitty deal, Julius. I understand your hesitation. Janey is a totally different woman. Not like Artemis in any way."
"You don't understand, Hermes. I rather liked Artemis. She is beautiful, intelligent, and feisty." He ran a hand over his face. "Those are the traits I admired and hated at the same time. The woman has become an obsession, and maybe accepting your assignment would help to expel Artemis from my system." He paused for a moment. "I will accept this assignment."
