The Kitchen Sink
by Rick Magers

Category: Humor/Mainstream
Description: The Kitchen Sink is not a plumber's handbook. It's a book of short stories, poems, recipes, a glimpse of an old smuggler's past, and excerpts from two of the author's novels. There are 53 all totaled ... enough to keep you reading for a while. Each entry is followed by the author's WOW. His Words of Wisdom have yielded praise from many, ridicule from some, laughter from a few, and death threats from a couple of Mickey J's tribe.

"I bought a copy of this author's book The McKannahs because historical western novels are my reading passion. I enjoyed his novel The Black Widowmaker even though it was quite brutal and bloody, but after reading Superstar in his book of short stories titled A Father's Visit, and Viking Queens in this book, I think the son-of-a-(I will refrain from using the word that fits here because I'm not a crude person) should be given a free ticket to San Francisco's Gay Parade and a notice put in our newspaper. There are thousands of us here who love Michael Jackson, and believe that he truly is the world's greatest SUPERSTAR. We did not find Viking Queens one bit funny or entertaining. If he ever comes here to visit and we find out in advance, we'll show the sick basxxxx what entertainment is."--John the Baptist--Visit San Francisco--My head will thrill you
