She managed a weak smile to hide her own intense arousal before he escorted her to a waiting car. Odd that I have no luggage, she thought.

He seemed to have money as his clothes were nicely tailored and he had chosen a luxury car over a taxi. Somehow she knew that he was wealthy but had no idea how. Nevertheless, he didn't seem to have any trouble paying for the flight or the hotel. And the roses were a nice touch as well, white roses--her favorite. How did he know?

Savion closed the door behind them once checked into his executive suite then dropped his jacket over a chair beside the door. His gaze openly followed her as she admired the posh accommodations.

"Would you like to order room service? Sit and chat for a bit?"

She turned and halted. Their gazes met in an intense exchange of unspoken desire. He did a once over, looking at her as if she was absolutely beautiful. Slowly she undid the braid and let her hair fall to her waist.

He cleared his throat softly. "Babe, I'm doing my best to be a gentleman here. But if you keep looking at me like that, I'm afraid I won't be able to hold back for long."

Gently she laid the roses on a table, removed her blazer and took a step towards him. "I'm sorry ... I don't mean to tease. But you are gorgeous and you smell fantastic."

"Even with my five o'clock shadow? I've not had time to shave, love." He gave a teasing wink.

"It's sexy."

"Damn, woman, come on over here." His words came out on a sigh, almost in a low growl as he closed the gap between them in two steps.

Her face turned upward as he snatched her to his hard chest. Their parted lips were mere inches away from each other. Her knees weakened while gazing up into the most beautiful blue eyes she'd ever looked into, with color like a liquid-blue sky. His fresh breath wisped her face as he brushed her cheek with his.

"Celeste," he whispered seconds before his mouth covered hers in a thrilling French kiss.

She doubted he would make a move until absolutely positive she wanted it, so she lifted one foot off the floor and wrapped her leg around the back of his, gently rubbing the back of his muscled calf with her high heeled shoe.

His hands gripped her thighs and lifted her off the floor before he carried her to the oversized sofa nearby and laid her down.

"I've thought about this moment so many times ... I can't believe you're finally here," she said softly, staring up at him through misty eyes.

"Are you sure you're ready to take this step?"

Celeste nodded. "Yes. I'm even more in love with you now."

"Me too, babe ... me too."
