Years ago I had a dream so vivid I will never forget it. I knew I was in the spirit world. A group of us stood in a semi-circle as a Master stood with his arms outstretched, holding a baby. He asked the group, 'Who will take this baby?' No one stepped forward. We were all acutely aware that the baby was a 'hot potato', a huge challenge that we felt we were not up to pulling off.

Suddenly I stepped forward. I said, 'I will. I will take the baby'. I feel tearful as I write these words. For years I wondered about the significance of the dream. My ego imagined that I would give birth to the new Messiah; how important would I be! Thankfully, that fantasy died a quick death.

In recent years, I have come to understand that the baby represents the birth of Christ Consciousness on Earth: the fifth dimension. In the spirit world, I volunteered, along with tens of thousands of other souls, to help humanity embrace the fifth dimension. I 'woke up' spiritually in 1986. Since then I have studied everything I could find about God and soul nature.

Now my time has come to do the work I came here to do. I am not getting paid to help people understand the fifth dimension; however, Spirit is taking care of my every need. It is very difficult as a strongly independent person not to be bringing in a regular pay cheque. But Spirit is clear on this point: if I had a 'regular' job I would not be available to receive their channelled information.

There is no job description for what I do -- I rely on my intuition day to day. Spirit leads me to the person I need to interact with, or the next task I need to do. There is a smooth flow to my life when I follow my intuition. In fact, it is so smooth it makes no sense to attempt to do anything else.

I am required to have immense courage as I do this work. Most of humanity would label me a crackpot. I plough on, listening to Spirit speak to my heart, ignoring the lack of understanding that surrounds me. Spirit is bringing more loved soul friends in to support me. Two years ago I didn't have a single colleague on the Earth plane. I felt alone and isolated. Now I have many dear soul friends at my side.

Why am I telling you this? I am telling you this because my journey could be your journey, if you choose. If I can pull myself from the depths of alcoholism (I have been sober for 27 years), plant my feet on the road to peace and joy and walk it one day at a time, so can you.

Earlier this year (2011), I found myself channelling articles for my spiritual website. They came through when I was sitting quietly -- often on a Sunday morning when I was relaxing in bed with a book, tea and toast. I love my Sunday lie-ins and I really didn't want to be writing down stuff that was pouring into my mind. But I dutifully did so...

Then I began to regress myself to visit the fifth dimension. Those visits also became articles on my website. All in all, articles starting flooding onto my website. I was quite happy with this situation because I knew the articles were enjoyed by many people.

One day Spirit said, 'Those articles are to become a book titled Welcome to the Fifth Dimension! I replied, 'But the articles are available for free on my website -- why would anyone pay to read them in a book?'

Spirit said, 'Once the book has been compiled, you will erase the articles from your website. The people who read the articles on your website will have enjoyed the blessing of reading them for free. Others who come along later will pay to read them.' Hmm, that sounded fair.

Also, I understood that once I erased the articles that appear in this book, there will still be a steady stream of articles channelled for my website -- which will also eventually become part of a book, etc.

I cannot take credit for the articles - they manifested through the efforts of a dedicated team of lightworkers, both incarnate and discarnate. It is like I mention in one of the articles about The Three Musketeers... 'All for one and one for all!'

I have alternated the fifth dimension visit chapters with the general article chapters, to balance the energies. If you were to read all the fifth dimension visits in one section, it could be quite draining. The fifth dimension visits take place in a high vibration -- when I first started regressing myself there I was exhausted afterwards. I did get used to the higher vibration after a time and now I feel comfortable there.
