Crow Street Press, physically located in Seattle, Washington, U.S.A., was founded in the summer of 2002 to publish high-quality, beautifully designed electronic books on a wide variety of subjects, both fiction and nonfiction.

We are book lovers. We love the look, the feel, the very smell of books; browsing bookstores, buying books, bringing them home and reading them into the wee hours.

We love electronic books, too. We love the ease of buying books online, downloading them instantly into our handheld, laptop, or TabletPC computers, and having a library of hundreds of books instantly accessible at our fingertips. We love being able to search within a book, make notes in the margins, highlight a passage we want to remember, and then erase our notes and highlights when we no longer need them. We absolutely adore being able to leave on vacation with a library of hundreds of beautiful books that weigh absolutely nothing.

We don't believe that electronic books can ever replace certain things we love about books, but we do believe they're a revolution in the way people buy, read, and use books.
