"Come on, Angela. I know you're holding out on me. Where is it?" "Do you always talk to yourself?" Ignoring Malcolm, I squatted down and checked the next cupboard. When my fingers wrapped around a bottle, I squealed and pulled it out. I could get drunk and ignore Mr. Grumpy Pants for the rest of the day and night. Jumping to my feet, I danced in a circle and chanted, "Yes! Yes! Yes!" With one last spin, I ground to a halt when I slammed into a rock-hard wall. A wall with arms that grabbed onto me, holding me steady when I would have fallen. "What's got you so excited?" Slightly dizzy and breathless, I looked down at the bottle in my hands. I didn't even know what it was, nor did I care. "Vodka." Mmm ... Now that was something I could definitely handle drinking. "Vodka?" Malcolm chuckled. Vibrations from his laughter rumbled through his chest and tingled through my body everywhere we touched. I didn't want to pull away, but leaning against him like this was a bad idea. My nipples were as hard as pebbles and pressed painfully against my shirt. They were probably more than clearly visible through my thin turtleneck. I pulled away and turned around so he wouldn't see. I should have left my sweater on, but I'd gotten so hot staring at Malcolm, I'd needed to take off a layer of clothes. Just thinking about his chocolate brown eyes and his dark skin made my body heat up again. I licked my lips and focused on the vodka bottle. "Planning on getting me drunk so you can take advantage of me?"
