"I always enjoy a good humor read and this one was over the top. In this book, we meet two sisters in their sixties, Maxcine and Isabel. The husbands of these two funny ladies decided to have a mid-life fling and spread their wings, so to speak. Unfortunately, they were caught, and found themselves without their marriage partners, leaving the ladies living out their lives together in one home.
This was a funny tale, with two very entertaining ladies taking the spotlight, and it was packed full of surprises that will definitely entertain you. Who could guess what they were going to come out with next. Quite amusing! Do they fly away to Glory before their true appointed time, or is there more to that story than meets the eye? You'll have to read this laugh-out-loud book to find out. If you like to giggle, this book is for you. Well done! Thanks for the laughs, a very welcome emotion."
-- Shirley Johnson, MidWest Book Review

Prologue As spooky as the thought of something evil devouring the moon, so are the minds of Hershel and Gavin. Ten years ago, the two men had been committed to a nursing home for mentally screwed seniors somewhere in New Jersey by their exasperated wives. That was as far from Arizona as it was possible to relocate them on short notice. During their incarceration, their physical well-being remained excellent, considering respective ages. Gavin, nine years younger than Hershel's sixty-nine, was of course in better shape. Mental capabilities of both men had been on a roller coaster ride, remarkably resulting in only one change in their Scorpio personalities. Usually males of the human species don't chatter rampantly like the females are prone to do. Short and to the point, was their style. If instructing someone how to use a toaster, they'd more than likely say something to the effect of, "Plug it in." Now however, Hershel and Gavin are easily capable of creating enough wind with their flapping lips to propel the Mayflower across the Atlantic Ocean. They are still sarcastic, moody, provoking jokesters whose periods of genius become stomped on by intermittent memory loss commonly termed as Senior Fade. In addition, they occasionally pretend to be so senile that a hamster would have scored higher on an intelligence test. Their personalities constantly test the staff at the nursing home. When it suits their purpose, the geezers could be mistaken for terrorists, which invariably results in being given sedatives to restore control to their caretakers. In simple terms, their behavior equates to being royal pains in the posterior. Hershel and Gavin have reached the point in time when they no longer wish to reside at the nursing facility. They want out, they want out now. They want their freedom! The biggie question is, would they know what to do with that coveted freedom should they somehow get it?
