"Love Fang is a thoroughly amusing tale. First of all, the premise of a vampire with dental pain is definitely interesting. The interaction between John and Lauren is fantastic. I love the light, easy-going feeling of this story as well as the intense emotions between the characters. John's assistant, Doreen, and Lauren's assistant, Rosetta, are fantastic as they try to play matchmakers. After this delightful novel, I am looking forward to reading more from Ms. Blexrud in the future.
Rating: 4 Cups"--Bonnie-Lass Coffee Time Romance "Love Fang by Susan Blexrud is your typical old school vampire love story. John sleeps in a coffin, has no reflection, turns into a bat and wears a cape. I enjoyed the openness of John being a vampire. In the beginning, Lauren's dental assistant, Rosetta, realizes he is a vampire and is scared. Eventually she does over come this and her and John's assistant, Doreen, work together to try to get the two reluctant lovers together. Lauren has a very big decision to make. She becomes a vampire and spends eternity with John--which doesn't sound so bad--or she chooses to find a human to love, which is more difficult but she stays human. I felt for Lauren and the big decision she had to make. It was very hard on her and I liked the fact that the novella dealt with her decision making more in depth than some I've read. Overall, the story flowed smoothly from start to finish and kept me turning the pages to discover which path Lauren would take. I also enjoyed the humor that Lauren added to the story. Her chihuahua had me cracking up just about every time he appeared in the story. Bravo Ms. Blexrud! Rating: 4 Angels"--Reviewed by: Megan www.fallenangelreviews.com

Morning found the anxious young men and women hastily devouring a hearty breakfast of scrambled eggs, fried bacon strips, hash browned potatoes, hot buttered toast topped with strawberry jam, and heaping glasses of orange juice before leaving the hotel to begin their exploration of the mountains. Tarrah and Larry chuckled as they watched a mother deer and her young fawn greedily lapping water from the crystal clear lake while Scott, Bethany, Josh, and Cindee admired the sensational view of the sun as it peeked above the water to cast a most enchanting glow upon its surface. Brendin, Kiley, Gary, Paul, Steven, Melody, and Marie joined them to admire the lake after an exploration of the surrounding wooded area. "Isn't this the loveliest place you've ever seen?" Bethany asked as she gazed at the sparkling water. "Not nearly as beautiful as you," Scott commented, his eyes lingering upon the woman he cherished. Bethany's face flushed scarlet at the compliment. "I love you, Scott Winters," she said, "and I always will." He leaned forward to kiss her then, and in response she wrapped her slender arms about his waist. God, she silently prayed, please don't let me lose him! I don't know what I'll do if he leaves Lynchville and my life forever! Unknown to the young friends, they were being closely scrutinized. A plot was being formed at that very instant ... one that included all of them ... and one in particular. The prying eyes watched the thirteen comrades for quite some time before making an exit.
