Golden Orchids Of The Sun

In the silva

kept cool by pines

I walk the path

of golden orchids

where blushing peach blossoms

grow shadowed

by the eaves of a gazebo.

I hear

the quiet ripple of water

in a nearby stream

and listen to the flight

of a wren

warmed by the vibrant new sun

and spring wind.

The Gentle Dawn

When the clover

and sunflower

lean towards the dawn

sprinkled by the red dust

of the sun

I see saffron butterflies

forever gentle

in the wind

flying above asters

creamy and white

as if a fairy had

summoned them.

I lay by the water

while they are still

in flight graced

in the morning's

shining light.

The Soft Scent Of Sage

In the soft scent of sage

when I awaken

and the glow

of a milky moonstone

touches my skin

the sun warms the sky

above me

as I sleepily wend

through the silva

seeking the heather

while the whisper of

wings go passing by

and baby's breath

peacefully scend

falling upon me

below the lucent

sweet heavens.
