The viscomm switched off, and Red swiveled around in the chair to gaze at Sonja.
"You play with fire, Stud." "Then take care you don't get burned, lass." "I've been known to put out some big flames in my time." "You've never felt the lick of mine." "It means you've bitten off more than you can chew, wench." "Lick and chew. What a strange choice of words." Red's own eyes narrowed. "I can play word games with the best of them, Sonja. I can do a lot of things with the best of them. Playing with you isn't one of them." "My, how disappointing." She jerked the laser. "Up, Stud. Your job is done for now. Illona!" "Yes?" Illona stuck her head into the cabin. "Take the trader back to the cabin and lock him in."
