Description: Sheila Quinn makes a living watching the rich and famous. Watching their backs, that is. But when she agrees to protect buff and beautiful porn star Taylor Knight, the word "watch" takes on a whole new meaning. She never, ever, mixes business with pleasure, and has little respect for those who do. But this man is a god in human skin. Every move he makes, every word he speaks, every touch he places on her body is calculated to bring the ultimate erotic satisfaction. It's up to Sheila to keep him safe when a killer strikes. But in a world where sensual passion is all part of the game, and the man she's protecting isn't really who he seems, who will protect her if she loses her heart?

"...A story filled with enough dangerous suspense and hot sexual tension to keep you thoroughly engrossed until the very end. M. L. Rhodes' hero and heroine are very strong and independent individuals ... it makes it all the sweeter when true love is found and prevails even against the toughest odds... A delightfully quick read filled with wonderful romance and suspense... I know you will not be disappointed."--Lisa Lambrecht, In the Library Reviews
"...Filled with sexual tension, along with the mystery of the stalker. We know "The Bodyguard" is a short, so we are caught in the web of the suspense and the romance. When I was reading this, I had to wonder--would love be found? Would Taylor's secret ruin the connection he made with Sheila? What about the stalker situation? How could that possibly be tied in and resolved? Well, let me tell you, it flows wonderfully. This book satisfies these answers flawlessly. You will be glad you took a few moments to purchase "The Bodyguard" and read it. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Rhodes' works.--Robin Taylor, Romance Junkies
"...Filled with suspense, romance and sexuality. M.L. Rhodes packs a punch in a mini book. The story grabs you from the first paragraph and keeps you reading right through until the end. The heroine and hero have an immediate attraction. They sizzle when in the same room with each other. They pull you into their lives, sorrow, and anguish right off the bat, making the story more believable. It's a must read!"--Tina, Love Romances
The heat of Taylor's breath set Sheila's nerve endings on fire and she fought the urge to turn and bolt. This man was like sizzling coals--too hot to handle. "Stop it," she said softly, barely able to breathe with him so close.
"Surely I don't scare you? Not a strong woman like you." He stroked her arm through the thin linen of her jacket. She swallowed hard. Damn it. Damn men in general. No way was she letting another one run her off.
"No, you don't scare me," she said, pleased her voice sounded so even and calm in spite of the fact her insides were jumping like firecrackers.
"I'm glad to hear that. But it's your eyes that give you away, babe. I look in them and know I make you nervous. You'd like me to be on my best behavior, wouldn't you?"
"Somehow," she murmured, having trouble breathing again, "I doubt you're ever on your best behavior, Mr. Knight."
A smile twitched on his full, sensuous lips, and the heat of his hand on her arm scorched her. "I suppose that depends on what you consider my best," he said in a husky whisper just a second before his mouth lowered onto hers.
