Pessimistic people are the best people to borrow money from because they don't expect to be paid back.
Strange thoughts pop into my head in times of intense stress. Driving to stop the man I loved from marrying a woman counted as that type of situation. I was majorly stressed out. And emotional. And maybe just a little bit crazy.
If Shane McBride wanted to marry her instead of being with me, then I should let him. But I couldn't. And that was insane. But I'd never really been like everyone else. Luke Kincaid was definitely different than the rest of the world.
