Description: Allen Craig is a private eye, with all that entails. His nature is to blend in. To not be noticed. He lists it as one of his finer accomplishments. But when he gets hired to find a missing girl and a set of mysterious cards she carries, he finds he is more well-known than he first thought. By his former employer, the CIA, a former partner of his in the same, and most importantly, by a group of near indestructible creatures also determined to have the cards this woman carries. Craig doesn't understand their importance or hers. But as he learns from his former partner, whatever is going on, the stakes are a lot higher than he realized. And like it or not, he is now involved. So the question becomes is he a player? Or a victim?
