Even as an actor, Tom thought that there was no way Daniel could have faked such a performance. Daniel's face was getting red and blotched in an unattractive way, and his mouth was tight from the memory of utter humiliation. Immediately, Tom felt terrible about accusing him. For someone like Daniel, who had been locked away for so long, approaching him had likely been a hellish ordeal.

"I'm sorry, Daniel," Tom said. "I didn't know that. Please forgive me."

"Yeah, well," Daniel sniffed harshly.

"Look, Daniel," murmured Tom gently, drawing him close. Daniel went very still and stopped sniffling. "I know how sex is, all right? Even if you are attracted to men, you shouldn't throw it all away by attacking the first non-straight person you see. You deserve better than that."

Daniel looked up defiantly again and said, "I'm tired of waiting. I've known for ages at the community, and I want you now. I want you a whole lot."

"I'm very flattered about that," Tom replied gently. "But you haven't had any sexual encounters yet. Of course you would think that. Trust me, I gave my first time away on a whim, and I regretted it. I guarantee you will feel the same."

Though Daniel appeared so shy, he could certainly move fast when the need arose. In one swift movement, Daniel kissed him deeply on the lips. His mouth tasted of salt from his tears and something else that was sweet, probably a drink. Though Daniel kissed sloppily, Tom still had to fight down his mounting urges. He may not have been that much older, as he was only thirty, but he felt bad about hurting someone innocent looking like Daniel. He was certain Daniel would regret it if they did it.

"Please," Daniel said, drawing away and wiping his mouth. "Please do it with me. I've waited for so long."

It was every man's dream words. Daniel was an incredibly attractive person, even by someone like Tom's standards. Tom had seen tons of movie stars on the set who were so caked with makeup they looked surreal. This being the case, he could have easily become disillusioned about real human beauty. Even without any help, though, Daniel was something else.

With a sigh, Tom ran his fingers through his hair and made a grunting sound. He wanted Daniel. Anybody would. As he looked at Daniel's hopeful expression, he sighed deeply. It technically isn't my fault, thought Tom. I've tried to be the decent person here. I tried to warn him...and it's been such a long, long time.

"Okay, fine," said Tom gently, taking a step forward.

Daniel's eyes brightened. Really, Tom wished Daniel would stop doing that, because he knew that same cute face would be different in just a moment's time. The first time felt good but was still painful. There was always going to be a hurt expression when Tom pushed himself inside of him.

Tom leaned forward, kissing Daniel on the lips gently. That wasn't what Daniel was in the mood for, apparently. When Daniel had said that he was tired of waiting, it was evident that he hadn't been kidding. Instead of accepting Tom's slow start, which was his norm because he wasn't a sex for sex's sake type of person, Daniel grabbed a hold of his brown hair and pushed his tongue in Tom's mouth. Once again, Daniel was sloppy, but it wasn't bad.
