Description: For divorced dad Alex Tunney, the Christmas choir concert seems like the perfect time to show his son he's ready to work on their relationship. Arriving late isn't his fault, but the last thing he expects is for Jake to take off without a word once the concert's over. He's not the only abandoned father, though. Marty Osterberg waits for his daughter, and when they discover the teenagers have left together, they team up to find them. Of course, he'd have a much easier time if Marty didn't look exactly like the perfect present to find under his Christmas tree...

People began to mingle, hovering around their seats, the low buzz of conversations like mosquitoes droning on in the summer. Though he was a little out of practice, he recognized this dance. Families killing time as they waited for their children to emerge. Several nodded at Alex, prompting him to nod back. The only trouble was, he didn't know anyone. Evening commitments were usually his ex-wife Laura's domain. Alex hadn't been to an extracurricular function since before the divorce.
His smile froze when he realized that. Shit. He really was the worst father ever.
When the kids trickled back into the auditorium, he was relieved. Flushed, expectant faces burst into wide, embarrassed smiles when families were spotted, but each time a boy came out that wasn't Jake, his nerves got shorter. Parents paired off with their prospective child and left, like a weird reverse Noah's ark, until the only two remaining were Alex and another father sitting alone in the second row.
He looked to be around forty, same as Alex, though where Alex had taken to shaving his head to counter his thinning, receding hair, the other man had a healthy nest of unruly salt-and-pepper waves. It was the kind of sexily unkempt vibe Alex had always coveted, one that said, "Yeah, I've been sleeping and fucking for the last forty-eight hours, don't you wish you were me?"
As a matter of fact, he did. Because the stranger had the looks to back up such an arrogant claim. Taller than Alex if the mile-long legs stretched out in front of him were any indication. Slimmer, too, with swimmer's shoulders barely contained in the black polo he wore. His sharp profile had a strong nose and chin, the skin still firm and unlined, and a beestung set of lips that set all of Alex's synapses firing off in southerly directions. That kind of mouth was meant to stretch around a really fat cock, so swollen that drool would slip out the corners no matter how tight the suction.
Considering how fit the guy was, that would be some truly Olympic-level sucking.
If he was gay, of course.
Which was about as likely as Jake ever coming out at this point.
Alex tore his eyes away from the stranger to glare at the doors that led behind the gym. He'd busted his ass to get here at all. Construction was behind schedule, and the crew he'd been saddled with were a pack of idiots. He'd had to get on the floor and re-jig the wiring himself when one particular moron decided he didn't actually need to read the schematics. That was why he'd been late. If Jake hadn't specifically asked him to come, he would still be at the site.
"Yours should be out soon."
The baritone behind him snapped his head back to the remaining father. "Why do you say that?"
The man grinned. Hell, even his teeth were perfect. "Because mine is always the last for everything."
It was meant to put him at ease, but Alex was too self-conscious now to do much but fidget. "Mine's probably punishing me."
"Coming in late."
"Well, you couldn't have been too late. I didn't hear you."
Because he'd probably been paying attention to the concert instead of counting the minutes until it was done. Alex kicked himself again for not being more supportive. After all, this was the first after school activity Jake had ever shown an interest in. Laura claimed it was for a girl, but Alex didn't care what the source of Jake's interest was. Unless...
"I don't suppose you're waiting for your daughter?" He tried to keep it casual, but the sharp frown he got said he hadn't succeeded. He barreled on to add, "I'm just wondering if that's what's holding up Jake. See, there's this--"
"You're Jake Tunney's dad?"
He blinked. He'd expected the stranger to be the girl's father, but not to be aware of anything in reverse. Especially since now he was standing--holy hell, he looked even better vertical, though the only position that would be even sexier would be horizontal. Naked, of course.
As the man approached, a small smile replacing the frown, Alex realized he had zero idea what his train of thought had been before it was derailed, defrocked, and utterly denounced by the more lascivious images now consuming his consciousness. Like how the girl's dad would look with a big red bow tied around his erect cock announcing, "For the boy who's been very, very, very good this year."
At the moment, however, the only part of the other dad's body that was sticking out was his hand. In greeting.
