Kale took the elevator up and ran his hand over the palm scanner at the door. He stepped inside and kicked off his shoes. No one tackled him to the floor as he opened the door. Well, that was a surprise. Kale was used to a much warmer welcome then that. "Dante? Are you here?"

There was no answer and the apartment was dark except for the flicker of the TV. Kale's keen eyes picked out Dante's form sitting on the couch. He was clutching a pillow to his chest and staring intently at the TV. Whatever Dante was watching had the boy totally entranced.

"Dante!"

"Wah!" Dante jumped, tossing the cushion he was holding in the air.

"Easy, love, it's just me." Kale slipped around the couch and patted his lover's tail.

"Damn, it Kale, I really wish you'd make some noise when you come in." Dante grumbled, his lion tail twitching like an angry cat's under Kale's fingers. "It's a little unnerving, you know."

"I did make noise." Kale poked at the small goat horns that peeked through Dante's hair. "You were just too engrossed in what you were watching."

"Well, it is pretty interesting."

"It must be."

"Either way I'm glad you're home. I was going to wait for you downstairs, but I got tired of watching Frankie and that new boyfriend of his." Dante shrugged. "So how's the paperwork going?"

"There's more to do, but it can wait." Kale slipped his arm around Dante's waist and pulled the boy closer.

"I keep telling you to hire someone to help you out."

"Yeah, we--" Kale glanced up at the TV only to see what looked like two very naked men moving together on a bed. One pinned the other to the mattress and they started to fuck. Once they were locked together in hot, sweaty sex, the one on top pulled his partner's head back and bit into the soft skin of the man's neck. Kale blinked and glanced at Dante, one eyebrow raised in curiosity. "What the hell are you watching?"

"Vampire porn."

"What?"

"I borrowed it from Aoi. It's about this guy who gets turned into a vampire and is driven to fuck all these other hot guys because of his eternal thirst for blood and come. I know it sounds cheesy, but it's really hot." Dante turned the TV off and smiled at Kale. "Of course, I don't have to watch this anymore, since I have my very own tall and hunky vampire."

"I'm only half vampire, remember?"

"I know, I know." Dante tapped his chin thoughtfully. "Hey, do you still drink blood? I mean, I know you don't have to, but have you ever... you know, bitten anyone?" ENDEXCERPT
