Zader had seen Skye naked many times, but never had she been so beautiful. Her skin glowed with the aftermath of sex, and surprisingly, the dog's scent didn't repulse him as he followed her, but he was glad she chose to wash Leaf's smell away. He'd changed into his man's body and waited for his mate. His heart lurched at the thought of his cat never finding release. Every chance I get, I'll push the wolf from your mind." His cat would eventually want release. Right now it had settled down inside, waiting for Zader to take Skye. Through the man, the animal would find some solace. "I won't let you go." Grasping her long, chestnut hair, he tugged until their mouths met, and he covered her lips in a slow, tender kiss.

Zader couldn't begin to imagine how she felt, how hard this would be for her. Skye was a wolf. They mated for life and the beast in her would reject a connection to anyone aside from Leaf. All he could do was show her how much he wanted her, how much he, too, would care for her, protect her from everything but the hurt their unnatural bonding would certainly bring. Taking her blood was out of the question, not unless he planned to share his.

He stroked his free hand down her back, and thrilled at her reaction. She pushed her pelvis into his, causing his already full cock to swell even more.
