It was about then that things got really strange. The itching was becoming more of a burn, and he wasn't feeling like himself. Not at all. He felt... he felt wrong, like his skin didn't belong to him anymore.

He fell forward onto his hands and began to walk along on all fours, only it was easier than walking on just his legs had been and he could run now. Everything looked strange, like all the colors had been muted, and he swore he could smell the chickens in the coop at the farmhouse behind him. As well as the farmer himself -- just one person, a male. Who actually smelled quite good. Not in an eat-him kind of way like the chickens smelled, but in a hot man kind of way.

Unhappy, worried, Eric growled. Not a simple, back of his throat noise of displeasure, but an all-out, animalistic growl. It stopped him cold. He said "what the fuck" out loud, but it came out as a series of barks. Eric crouched, looking around, trying to figure out what the hell was going on. Then he put his head back and howled.

Howled.

He had just fucking howled.
