Rating: Carnal/Erotic. Multiple partners/heroes, menage a trois, group sex/orgy sex, NO male on male action, anal penetration, lots of foreplay, exhibitionism in the form of public sex (in a theater), oral sex (including blow jobs), hot possessive mating, and intense claiming without her permission.

Chapter One

"Goddammit! Watch where the hell you're going, jerk off!" As the fancy sports car swerved out of her lane with seconds to spare before crashing into her, Scarlet Reves inhaled sharply and automatically braked to lengthen the distance between the two cars. Her breath was wheezing and her chest was jerking uncomfortably as she contemplated how damned close that had been, too damned close for her liking.

She'd been driving steadily along, minding her own business as she chatted to her friend on her cell's speaker phone, when all of a sudden the car had appeared out of nowhere in her rear-view mirror. Driving like a bat out of hell, the sports car had jerked out from behind her then dipped within a hair's breadth of her bumper in front of her, almost clipping the side at the same time, before speeding off ahead of her.

Glaring at the fool driver, who by now was hidden from her sight by the rays of the sharp, blinding sunlight, she hissed out a curse that incorporated all car owners who liked to scare the hell out of their fellow motorists!

"What's wrong?" Mary-Jane, Scarlet's best friend, asked sharply.

"Some jerk on the road nearly crashed into me!" Scarlet seethed.

"Damn. That would have been bad luck. What are you, ten miles from the dock? That would have made a killer headline. 'Woman dies five minutes away from dream vacation!'"

"Thanks Mary-Jane," Scarlet said wryly. "It's good to know that I'm worthy of a decent headline, if nothing else."

"Well, it's not something you read about every day, now is it? It would've been a true human interest story. A poor young woman, just moments away from her prize, three weeks stay aboard the brand new ocean liner that the whole world is talking about.... I mean, you can't get better than that, can you?"

"You almost sound like you want to read that in the paper, MJ," Scarlet accused teasingly.

"Of course, I wouldn't!" MJ said in a shocked voice. "But the journalist in me is always looking for a story, that's all. I can't help it now. It's become second nature to me."

"I know, I was only kidding," Scarlet said, her voice soothing now.

"Good! You should know me by now, Scarlet. Hell, you would have thought twenty years of friendship would have taught you something! With that being said, I still can't believe that you won this dream holiday. In fact, I still can't believe you actually applied! What happened to my practical, strait-laced Scarlet Reves, the woman who does nothing without planning it, months if not years in advance?"

"So I like to be prepared, okay! That's not a crime, is it?"

"W-e-l-l," MJ said, dragging out the syllables considerably. "You can be a pain in the ass, love. I mean, look at last week. I invited you over for pizza with Ryan and me, but what did you do? Rather than thinking, hey, I'm alone and have nothing more planned than a night in the laundry room so I should go and enjoy my best friend's company, you said no because of that very fact. I still can't believe you pencil laundry duties into your diary. You seriously need to get laid!"
