Brandon opened the door quietly and entered the trailer. His breath caught at the sight of her. She was lying on her back, relaxed, and incredibly beautiful. Her foot was still propped up on the pillow with the ice bag covering it.

Slightly parted moist lips that begged to be kissed took his breath away as he wondered what it would feel like when he kissed her. He had no doubt that he would kiss her, he just didn't know when. At the rate he was going, with his heart beginning to race and his pants shrinking by the minute, he figured it would be soon. Very soon!

Erin took a deep breath and moved her head, her chest rising and falling, mesmerizing. He swallowed a lump in his throat and licked his lips. Man, she really was his dream come true.

Snapping himself out of his fantasy world he quietly put the suitcase down and moved to the small kitchen area. Opening the fridge he pulled out a bottle of water and chugged the entire thing down, trying to quench a thirst that was unquenchable.

"Hi," she said in a voice husky from sleep.

Brandon nearly spit out the water. She had caught him in mid swallow. Coughing, he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand.

"Sorry," he choked. Catching his breath, he continued. "I was trying to be quiet and not wake you. How are you feeling?"

Erin gave him a sexy look and stretched, her breasts straining against the stretchy material of her tank top, apparently unaware of how tempting she was. Brandon looked away, trying to pull himself together, and covered his face with his hand.

"Is something wrong?" she asked. "You look like you aren't feeling well. We could get Doc to come over and check you out if you like?" Her innocent question hid the laughter she felt inside as she relished the reaction he was obviously having to her body. She'd made sure her hair was tousled and spread across the pillow to enhance her sexuality.

"No--" his voice cracked and he had to clear his throat before he could continue to talk. "I'm fine, thank you, just fine."

"Oh. Well, then would you mind helping me? I need to--" Erin indicated the washroom.

He stared at her with a blank look on his face for a moment and then he got it. "Oh. Ah, sure I think we can manage to get you there okay."

Trying her best not to smile and give herself away, she let him pull her to standing and put her arm around his neck.

He stopped in his tracks when she was standing full height. He was only a few inches taller than her at six foot two. It was unusual to find such a tall woman. Her lips were just inches away and he stared down at them for a moment as a rush of desire hit him. Lemons and fresh air filled his senses, her scent driving him beyond distraction.

His eyes widened when he realized what he was doing. "It's nice to meet someone tall for a change. My neck won't hurt." Realizing what he'd said, he swore under his breath, his face flushing.

Erin pretended that she didn't understand what he meant and turned towards the bathroom. They were in close quarters so it was no problem for her to 'accidentally' brush up against him. Biting her lip, she groaned in apparent pain to hide her laugh at his discomfort. When he sucked in a breath as her breast caressed his side, she choked, fighting back laughter as it filled her.

Instantly he stopped. "Are you okay, Erin?"

She kept her eyes lowered and nodded. "I think I can take it from here, Brandon," she said, her voice husky.

Looking down he found that his hand was resting on her hard belly, pulling it away suddenly as if it had been burned.

"Oh, sorry. Sure. Ah, I'll just be over there by the bed--ah living room." Damn, he felt like he was back in high school about to lose his virginity. Never had he reacted to a woman this way before. Releasing her carefully he backed up until she was able to move into the small room and close the door behind her.

He heard a strange sound come from behind the door that sounded suspiciously like a snicker but thought that his mind was playing tricks on him. She was in pain, not having fun. Suddenly he felt the urge to have a cold shower and eyed the bag of ice in consideration. He could just stick it down his p--

"Oh...oww!" Erin cried out.

Rushing to the door, he asked, "Erin, are you okay?" His palm rested flat on the door.

"Sure I am, Stomper. I'm sorry but there isn't a great deal of room in here and I banged my foot. I'm okay, honest."

Erin was having such a hard time keeping her laughter in. He was so cute, like a young schoolboy. She'd bet her life savings that he was no virgin, yet he was definitely acting like it. That first moment when their eyes had met, she'd felt a shock go through her. The attraction was mutual. That made her mission so much easier, yet...it could prove to be more difficult than she'd thought also.

Having dealt with her needs Erin stood on one foot and washed her hands. She used the paper towel to turn off the tap and open the door with it before throwing it out.

Brandon was practically standing on top of the door. She saw that he had noticed her use of the paper towel. Grinning, she asked, "You do it too?" referring to using the paper towel to prevent touching germs on the taps or door handles after washing up.

Nodding he smiled back and without saying a word put his arm around her again, hers over his shoulder as he helped her back to the bed.

Just as they made it to the edge of the mattress she started to fall, locking her arms around his neck and pulling him down on top of her. Closing her eyes into a tight squint, her face turned pasty white.

Brandon tried to get up but she stopped him. "Please...don't move for a minute," she begged in a husky whisper. Tears escaped and she was panting for breath while she tried to get the pain under control. He froze, his body practically on top of hers, he was very aware of her curvy shape but more concerned about her pain.

The next few minutes were excruciating for Brandon. He battled between his libido and alarm for her apparent agony. His surprise was great when she turned her head, opened her tear filled eyes and laughed. Stunned, he looked at her as if she were crazy.

"Sorry, Brandon, I laugh when I'm nervous. The pain is better now." She stared up at him but made no move to remove her arms.

Unable to resist her pull he slowly lowered his lips to capture hers in a tender kiss before lifting his head to meet her gaze. Gauging her reaction he saw that she wasn't going to say no and lowered his head again for a deep, passionate kiss, lips burning, tongues exploring. His hands roved up and down her side as she pulled him closer and gave him back just what he offered.

Finally lifting his head, he stared at her, stunned. The electricity between them practically sizzled but he forced himself to remember that she was here because his own staff member screwed up and it was Brandon's responsibility to take care of her.

Feeling like a cad for taking advantage, he never realized that she had lured him like a bee to honey. Her expression was filled with innocence.

Running her thumb over his lower lip, she said, her voice husky with desire, "That was nice. This is a terrific hospital Doctor Know-It-All."

Brandon still stared at her. She was letting him know that it was okay with her about the kiss. He was stunned. Something magnetic and magical had happened between them. Wondering if she felt it too, he studied her face. Brushing her tears away with his thumb, he said, "I'm sorry Erin. I should have more restraint. Didn't you feel--"

Erin pulled his head down for another mind-bending kiss and he melted like butter on a hot grill. She was just as surprised as he was at the power of their attraction, but forced herself to focus on her mission.

When he suddenly froze and pulled back, quickly moving off the bed and backing away to the door, she was stunned. Was he turning her invitation down? How weird was that? The door closed behind him as though the hounds from hell were on his heels.
