A shock of pleasure raced through his body the moment their lips met. Without lifting his lips from hers, he nibbled a path along her lower lip. He knew the exact moment she would gasp and when she did, he slid his tongue between her parted lips. When she grabbed hold of his jean-clad hips, he knew she was lost to him. Her kiss was as hungry as his. She pulled him closer, holding on as if she were drowning and he her only lifeline. He pulsed his hips against hers and shifted just enough that he could cup her breast. Oblivious to the gasps of surprise around them, Morgan backed her toward the fence and held her there, her back against the rail, his groin pressing against her belly, showing her just how much he wanted her. From behind him, Morgan heard a woman's voice.

"Take the shot. There, there. Give me a camera. Check the angle. Someone get up on the fence, get me a shot from up there."

He had no idea what the woman was talking about. He and the woman in his arms were all that existed. Soft whimpers from Karley's throat caressed his ears. By the fervor of her kisses, it was clear she wanted him as much as he wanted her. In the periphery, he saw a pile of hay and shifted them ever so slightly, tumbling down into the soft bed. The soft clicking of the cameras barely registered when he fumbled with the buttons of her blouse, baring a plump, lace-enclosed breast. For the first time, he raised his mouth from hers before moving his heated assault to her cheek, down her neck and into the velvety vee of her breasts.

She slid her leg up over his, pulling him closer. "Morgan."

He looked up at her and drank in the widened pupils of her eyes, the kiss-swollen lips. "You left me."

"Why? Why did you leave me?" Before she could answer, he once again captured her lips with his. His fingers entwined in her long tawny-colored locks, she struggled for the breath their passion ripped from her. He reached down and grabbed the hem of her skirt.

"This is good! Get some shots of this," a woman's voice ordered.

Midway up Karley's thigh, Morgan stilled his hand. What the hell was he doing? Mauling a woman in broad daylight in front of a host of strangers. Worse, strangers with cameras! He pulled back, opened his mouth to say something, but what? He licked his lips and tasted Karley on them. She stared up at him, her gaze kiss-drugged, pupils wide and mirroring the movement of him licking his lips on her own.

"Kar--I'm sorry. Shit, I am sorry." He rolled away from her, stood and looked around. Apparently, they'd given quite a show if the open mouths and knowing grins were any indication. Silence reigned until one of the men, a heavyset fifty-something with a protruding white belly chuckled, "I wouldn't mind having a few shots like that."

Fingers fumbling, Karley managed to button up her blouse.

Once again, Morgan told her he was sorry and tried to shoulder his way through the crowd.

"Morgan, wait!" It was Karley's voice, half-pleading, half-commanding him to come back.

"Morgan, that's his name?" The voice of the woman he'd heard ordering the photographs to be taken flittered after him.

Just as he grabbed his shirt off the ground, the woman reached him. About five foot two inches, ninety pounds, give or take with a pixie face and short spiked red hair, she took hold of his arm and spun him around. She was amazingly strong for such a tiny thing.

"Morgan? Nicole Barnes. Dee Dee's agent."

He looked at the hand she thrust out like it was an object fallen from space. Gingerly, he reached to take it. "Look, I'm sorry. Please tell...Dee Dee I'm sorry, I didn't mean..."

She waved her hand in front of him. "That was incredible. Those were some of the best shots I've ever seen. If I'm right, we won't even need to touch them up much. Well, of course, Dee Dee will want her images brushed out to a fade, but damn, I can tell you right now the camera loved you."

"What are you talking about?"

"You! Mr. Morgan, you are going to be a star."
