Steve entered the room brandishing the second bottle of Napa Valley wine.

"Some cellar we'll have if we drink it all." Lucy laughed, already feeling wonderfully languid.

"It's our anniversary, what better reason?" He attacked the cork with his long fingers. It made a delightful popping sound and he poured the wine into their best glasses.

"What indeed," she said, "but two bottles?"

He handed her a glass. Holding his glass up to hers, he gave a lopsided grin. "To you, my love."

"Thank you for the most wonderful six months of my life, Steve." Her gaze roved admiringly over his thick blond hair, meeting his incredibly blue eyes in frank invitation.

"Likewise, my sweet."

By the time Steve held the bottle upside down, declaring it dead, Lucy was tipsy. She moved to stroke the back of his neck. "Wine always makes me feel amorous."

"I didn't know that, of course." He wound his arms around her and nuzzled her neck.

"Let's make love beside the fire." She pulled him down by his necktie.

"Hey, you'll throttle me, and then I won't be any good to you." He laughed as they fell onto the rug.

She kissed him, breathing in his familiar male smell. His mouth tasted of sweet wine. "Mm. Ambrosia."

He stared down at her, admiration in his eyes. "God, you're gorgeous, Lucy."

She lay back on the rug. "You make me feel so sexy."

He hovered over her, devilment in his eyes. "They say a guy thinks about sex every five minutes."

She cuffed him gently over the head. "Do you now?"

He grinned. "When I do it's always with you. Do you think just of me?"

"Of course."

"Yeah. I've seen the way you look at Brad Pitt."

"He's not as cute as you. Not even close." She ran her hand up under his shirt over the smooth skin of his muscular chest and stomach, and down. His cock hardened under her touch.

"Enough talk." His mouth came down hard on hers.

Sex with Steve was so familiar, and yet each time something new seemed to be added. Lucy got hot and wet just seeing the heated determination in his eyes.

He pushed up her short skirt and pulled off her g-string. Anticipation filled her and she gasped at the touch of his mouth. His tongue soon had her gasping as his fingers moved inside her.

She'd been thinking of this all day at work, every time she saw his broad back across the room. "Now!" she pleaded.

When he'd driven her wild with promise, he answered her plea. His eyes darkened to navy and he filled her, his hard body moving against hers. She spread her legs wide and her hips rose up to meet him, her fingers in his hair. He thrust into her as she hovered on the brink, then slid away into rapture.
