Category: Erotica/Gay-Lesbian Erotica/Romance
Description: Billy and Tanny are back again, working on their relationship and making their life together. What began in Found, and was built upon in Snared is now tested in Owned, as Billy pushes Tanny farther and harder into the world of dominance and submission, the world he knows Montana belongs in. Billy's faith in Montana remains strong as he leads his boy through ups and downs to Tanny's subspace. That's the place where nothing else matters but the two of them; that place where the world and its worries just don't exist. That place where Montana can fly higher than he ever has before. Things aren't going as well for everyone, though. Oliver's disappeared and Jack, his sub, doesn't know what to do. Lucky for Jack, the Hammer community, including Billy, is willing to gather around and help Jack with his needs, not to mention start looking for Oliver. Billy just hopes that they can find Oliver before something terrible happens, and that Montana can find it in him to forgive the Hammer's founding father for what he did before it's too late.

Tanny looked at Billy from the other side of the car. They were zooming across town, heading for the fancy-pants part, toward Oliver's house. He should have stayed at home. He wasn't welcome at Oliver's house. He wasn't welcome with anyone in Billy's club; he knew that. Still, when his lover told him to get dressed, Jack needed them, Tanny got dressed.

They turned up the tree-lined road that led to Oliver's huge house, and it was only a few minutes after that they were turning into Oliver's driveway. "I'll stay in the car, huh?"

Jack had been crying. Billy said something had happened to Oliver. It was better if he stayed out.

"I think you should come in with me, love." Billy took his hand and really looked at him. "Jack knew you'd be coming along when he called me."

"But what if I make it worse?" Everybody knew that it was the fight with him at the hospital that led to Oliver leaving the club, to Billy and Oliver's fight.

"Oliver isn't there, love. He's left, and Jack needs us, needs our support -- both of us."

"Left where?" He just didn't understand.

"I don't know -- Jack wasn't terribly coherent. Come on, we need to find out what's going on." Billy squeezed his hand and then got out of the car, coming around to hold his door open for him.

The sun was warm on his face, and he slipped out, wrapped his hand around Billy's arm. Billy patted his hand and they headed for the front door. It opened before they made it, a sobbing, hysterical Jack leaping for Billy.

Billy braced himself and caught Jack. "Okay. Okay, Jack. We're here now. We're here."

"He's gone. He's gone. I called Marcus. He's gone. Please."

"Shh. Shh. Come on, let's go back inside." Billy nodded to him to go in first.

"He's gone. I wish he'd never gone to that fucking hospital."

"What do you mean he's gone, Jack?" Billy closed the door behind them and headed down the hall toward the kitchen. "Can you make us some coffee, please, love?'

"Sure." Montana started that process while Jack cried.

"There was a note and a bunch of money and instructions. I think he's going to kill himself. He's lost everything!"

"Stop that right now." Billy's voice snapped out. "He has you, Jack; he wouldn't do that to you. Show me the note."

A crumpled letter was passed over to Billy, and Tanny found the coffee filters, the coffee.

"This says he needs to get away and think. Jack, there's nothing here to suggest he's going to hurt himself."

"He wouldn't leave me. He wouldn't leave me a hundred thousand dollars if he was coming back."

"Jack, the money is so you can live while he's gone. If he was gone for good, he would have left you several million. Now, sit. Drink some coffee and calm the fuck down."

"Billy!" Jack was loud. Really loud.

Tanny poured three cups of coffee and passed them out.

"I said sit down." Billy pointed to a chair. "Now."

Jack sat, cup clattering on the table.

"Just sit and breathe and drink your coffee. And then really read this letter, okay? Don't read between the lines, just read what it says."

"It says he left me. He LEFT me!"

Tanny leaned against the door, trying to breathe. This was his fault. This whole thing. He was never going to live anything down.
