"This is dynamite." Detective Craig Bennet knocked back another whiskey. Ran a hand over his cropped black hair. He stared at Wayne Adler, his partner. "Honest to God, we have to cool it."

"I know." Wayne nodded. He looked around the crowded bar for a waiter. "There would be hell to pay if it ever got out."

"You can say that again. Not only would we be fired on the spot, but end up in jail." Craig's blue eyes were troubled. He paused long enough to light a cigarette. "I don't have to remind you that cops don't last long in prison." He felt bone weary and shaken to the roots. What just happened in the patrol car had made him a stranger to himself. Wayne had reached over, kissed him full on the mouth and stroked his cock. He had responded by returning the favour. It had been so damned exciting, perhaps due to the illegal and taboo nature of the act? Yet it felt so natural too, which couldn't be explained away so easily.
