Bio: Kal Wagenheim, born in Newark, New Jersey, is a journalist (formerly with The New York Times and currently editor of Caribbean UPDATE monthly newsletter), author, literary translator, and writer of plays and screenplays. He is also Adjunct Associate Professor at Columbia University's Writing Division, School of the Arts.
