Bio: Mike Emmett, the first fulltime online sports editor in Web history, has been a writer and an editor for more than 30 years. His work has appeared in hundreds of newspapers and magazines throughout the nation. Born in Bridgeport, Conn., he began writing horror fiction at the age of 17. Demon, his breakthrough novel, is the product of more than 20 years of work. Mr. Emmett is currently a fulltime author living in Cary, N.C. He is the father of two daughters -- Erin, who is a junior at East Carolina University, and Miriah, who is a sophomore at Wake Tech in Raleigh, N.C. Emmett is also finishing up work on his A.S. Degree in Web Technologies (also at Wake Tech) and currently runs several Web sites including www.demon-novel.com, www.mikeemmett.com, www.ebooksmash.com, www.mikeslist.org, and www.litesports.com.
