Kathleen Smith O'Donnell
Alert me when new Kathleen Smith O'Donnell titles are added

Bio: Kathleen O'Donnell grew up in a small town Central California but moved to Cody, Wyoming, to raise her two sons in the wide open spaces. Her sons Tim and Mike remember life in Wyoming as "Mom's never happier than when she's hitting the road to go see someplace new with a couple of kids and a dog in the car." After the boys were grown, empty-nest syndrome exacerbated her life-long wanderlust and fascination with other cultures and, as she puts it, she "wandered through a couple of continents and several countries." Along the way she earned a degree in comparative religion and acquired a reputation as a fair but tough manager. It was in the early 90's on a trip to Mexico City to work in a machinery trade show booth a love of Mexico began. A temporary assignment to do a branch start-up in Mexico followed and led to a promotion to general manager of the Mexico branch, then managing director. Fourteen years as one of the few American women managing sales and manufacturing businesses in Latin America, have supplied the background and inspiration for her cross-border stories.   Kathleen currently lives in Queretaro, Mexico, with her dogs Henry and Margaret and is working on a sequel to In The Shadows Of Juarez
