Janet Marie Mills lives outside of Columbus, Ohio with her husband, son and various hermit crabs. She is a frequent contributor to Ohio Outdoors and Recreation Magazine and has written articles for several trade and consumer publications. She earned a bachelor's degree from West Virginia University and a master's from Marshall University. In her spare time she enjoys practicing yoga, biking and playing the Appalachian dulcimer.
