Bio: Barbara Garro, MA, author, artist, art and writing coach, was born in Camden, N.J. She studied at the Philadelphia Art Museum from 1963-'64. She holds a master of arts degree from State University of New York, Empire State College, Saratoga Springs, N.Y. She is currently president of Electric Envisions, Inc., a Saratoga Springs, New York company devoted to helping people bring beauty into their lives and stay creatively motivated. What made Garro write this book? "The seed for From Jesus to Heaven with Love: A Parable Pilgrimage was planted when I realized two pivotal concepts: 1) Love is all there is, and 2) The choices I make create my life. I spent over ten years researching to understand Jesus's messages about love, healing and salvation in the hope that it would help me and others learn how to be a true follower of Jesus." Garro belongs to the International Women's Writing Guild and The American Watercolor Society. In her leisure time, she is a Liturgical Minister, Lector, teaches the Liturgy of the Word for Children, volunteers at Mary's Haven, enjoys travel, the outdoors and is an avid reader. An enthusiastic social networker, Garro can be found at: http://www.BarbaraGarro.com, http://AuthorBarbaraGarro.blogspot.com, http://www.Lunch.com/NYWriter, saratogapoetbarbaragarro.wordpress.com, artistbarbaragarro.wordpress.com, http://www.Facebook.com, and http://www.Twitter.com.
