Bio:

By way of Carnegie Mellon and Michigan State University, G.L. pursued a career in the television industry. He produced/directed TV news and entertainment programs. A series, "Southern Artisans," was presented on the Southern Educational Communication Association (SECA) Network. A Master of Applied Communication Theory and Methodology, he taught at Cleveland State University. He has written and published two novels: "The Journalist" and "Time&Chance." Also, a collection of sixteen short stories, "Bats in the Belfry, Bells in the Attic." Rockey's short story, "What If" was published in the July 2002 issue of Net Author's "E2K Journal." Rockey is a member several electronic writing groups. He resides in Ohio with wife Connie.

  These vignettes, of ordinary lives, glimpsed through the eyes of unforgettable, often quirky characters probe the complexity of what it is to be human, while giving an extraordinary and entertaining read. The stories range from a twin sister's bus ride encounter, to a 10 year old girl's diary, shifting gears to explore the mind of a pregnant schizophrenic trying to escape her past and present, to my very favorite, Ms. Collette, which could easily outshine any Twilight Zone or Outer Limits.
