Samantha Istre
Bio: was born in Frankfort, Kentucky two days before Christmas in 1979, but have lived most of my life in Louisiana. I live a happy, small-town life with my wonderful husband and two young boys in Sulphur, Louisiana. I have always loved to write but until recently never thought of making it my career path. I wrote my first novel, Forever Mine, because it was a goal on my list of ?things to do before I die.? I found the process so rewarding that I started my second novel, A Heart?s Crusade, as soon as I finished the first.
Besides writing I am an avid reader. I love the romance genre, but will read just about anything. Some of my favorite authors include; J.K. Rowling, J.R.R. Tolkien, Stephanie Meyer, Julie Garwood, and Julia Quinn. I am currently reading the Twilight Series for the second time, and yes I?m one of the many obsessed fans. Music is another one of my passions. Life is somehow better if it is lived to a great soundtrack.
My favorite quote, ?This is your life. Are you who you want to be?? is from a song by a band named Switchfoot. I try to live my life by this saying, and so far it?s working pretty well. I write nearly everyday, and hope that my work finds favor with people kind enough to read it.
