Carol Weekes
Bio: Carol Weekes has been publishing short fiction in a variety of genres since 1995; these genres include Horror, Science Fiction, Crime, Speculative, Mainstream, and the Literary venues. Her work has appeared in publications such as The Dalhousie Review, Prairie Journal, Space and Time, Northern Frights 4 & 5, Flesh & Blood, to name a few. As well, Carol acted as Editor-in-Chief of Northern Fusion Magazine before its demise. Along with writing and publishing fiction and non-fiction on an ongoing basis, Carol also teaches creative writing, fiction appreciation, and applied communications at the college level with the goal of inspiring her students to strive for excellence in their writing skills. Carol lives in Ingleside with her husband Rick, her daughters Katie and Erica, and a household of beloved adopted animals, including over a dozen gorgeous pet rats.
