K.L. Punches
Bio: K. L. Punches is really two people. Ki and his wife Linda decided to write this novel when they first met, and it became a twenty-year joint effort. Lind is an experienced writer, with publications in magazines (Redbook) and short stories for local mags in Seattle. She grew up on a Wisconsin lake and lived near Puget Sound all her adult life. She has two grown sons and two granddaughters.
Ki, a retired physicist, has raced sailboats on both major odceans, the West Indies and Hawaii. He and Linda lived aboard their 40 foot yawl, Starbright, for twenty years, cruising north along the B.C., southeast Alaska, and southern California. He has published many articles in statistics and reliability physics. He also had two sons, losing the younger in an accident getting his wings in Naval Aviation.
