Bio: Award winning author, Lynda Douglas makes her home with her husband and daughter in southern Arizona. Lynda?s love of nature often shows up in her writing. Lynda?s novels, DEADFALL, set in Oregon?s Siskiyou National Forest, and CLEARCUT, set in North Carolina?s Pisgah National Forest, grew from her experiences in those environs. Her short stories have appeared in Murderous Intent Mystery Magazine, Futures Mysterious Anthology Magazine, Nefarious Tales of Mystery, and others. Her novella, Lilacs and Lace, won the 2001 Derringer Award for best mystery novella, and she was a finalist in the previous year?s competition with Blind Justice. Lynda is a volunteer with the Friends of the Huachuca Mountains, working in conjunction with the Sierra Vista, Arizona Ranger District for the Coronado National Forest. She is a member of Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime, and the Short Mystery Fiction Society.
