Liz Hunter
Alert me when new Liz Hunter titles are added

Bio: As a sophomore in high school, Liz Hunter was required to submit three choices for a career to her guidance counselor. Her first choice, writer, was rejected as unrealistic, as well as her second choice, veterinarian. Her third choice was accepted; so she went on to earn a degree in medical technology from Pennsylvania State University.

Years later, homebound in Upstate New York during a five-day blizzard with a brown paper sack full of romance novels a friend had given her, Ms. Hunter soon realized that part of her fascination with these romances stemmed from her dormant desire to write.

The actual process of selling her own novel took more years that she’s willing to admit. Beyond the Shadow, a romantic suspense, was a 1994 Golden Heart finalist and has since been published by Hard Shell Word Factory both electronically and in print. Ms. Hunter is a member of Romance Writers of America®, Wisconsin RWA, The Golden Network and EPIC.

She lives in Madison, Wisconsin, with her husband of thirty years and their teenage daughter, one hamster, two fish tanks, three cats, and four Zebra finches. Mating Season is a natural by-product of the family's passion for sailing, mostly on Lake Michigan on board their 30 foot Pearson, Kallistos.
