Kay McAllister
Alert me when new Kay McAllister titles are added

Bio: Byron and Kay McAllister met in a math class, but after marrying decided not to sit around talking algebra to each other. Eventually they began, with varying degrees of togetherness, to write mysteries. They have lived in Utah, California, Wisconsin, South Dakota, New Jersey, Michigan and Montana, and love them all. They?ve raised three children to adulthood (and love them all, also). ?We like to read?and write?mysteries in which enough clues appear that quite a few of the readers?but not all of them?can out-reason the detective, but not all the time.?

1 .44 Short Stories
by Kay McAllister, Byron McAllister
Kay and Byron McAllister of the Nudist Series (Runaway Nudist, Undercover Nudist, and To Kill a Nudist) are at it again with a delightful miscellany of short stories. Readers unfortunate enough not to have read the novels will be glad to know that these new stories are independent of them (and of each other). However, some of the beloved Motherlode characters are present here, including Tim Rinnissen, only slightly less naïïve than he was as a teenager. (By the way, Tim has married, of all peopl... more info>> (Published: 2009)

by Byron McAllister, Kay McAllister
In a prequel to Undercover Nudist, murder once more turns up at Oak Grove Nudist Camp. Suspect number one is Barbara Bassett, self-proclaimed thief--"not a robber, they're violent!" who turns up at the camp while looking for a place to hideout from a would-be partner in crime. Unaware that Barbara is a "nice" sort of thief who specializes in stealing things people don't really need--like art and jewelry--Ned Nackero and Carola Szegy befriend the self-proclaimed thief and cook for her while seeki... more info>> (Published: 2006)

3 To Kill a Nudist [Nudist Series Book 3]
by Kay McAllister, Byron McAllister
Age and marriage haven't impaired the brains of Carola Szegy and Ned Nackero, crime solvers of Runaway Nudist and Undercover Nudist. In this adventure, in the middle of a mountain pass snowstorm, they encounter a fellow nudist being stalked by a crooked lawman and his corrupt boss; they lock horns with a well-meaning but sick-minded anti-government "militia"; and, of course, while the cold and snow settle in, they also determine who killed whom, and how, and why. 4 Undercover Nudist [Nudist Series Book 2]
by Byron McAllister, Kay McAllister
Teenaged Tim Rinnnissen spends the summer of '64 with his uncle and stumbles upon murder at the local Nudist Camp. et in 1964, this is the story of world-famous sleuth Tim Rinnissen's first introduction to detective work. The crime, five years' old, is an old-fashioned bludgeoning, with traces of attempted poisoning, corruption of officialdom, and an introduction to investigation sponsored by a couple of nudists, locally famous for their gourmet cooking. Tim's youth and inexperience lead him int... more info>> (Published: 2004)
