Sandra Leigh
Alert me when new Sandra Leigh titles are added

Bio: I am an award winning poet, with publication of my poetry in two anthologies, as well as writing theater reviews for the Florida Flambeau in Tallahassee during my year on their staff. I have long been a student of Ancient Rome, studying formally in both high school and College, with membership in the Junior Classical League. I have done particularly intense research regarding the era represented in this book, as well as extensive research into the Clans of Scotland and their feuds and relationships before choosing the three represented in this book. I feel passionately that ?getting the facts straight? is an important part of creating the suspension of disbelief, particularly when writing a story with historical elements. To that end, I have kept to known and accepted views of the various mythical references where possible, (using classical references for my knowledge of the Underworld) only exercising my poetic license where archeology has failed while using the scant facts as a launching point for any deviation and extrapolation.

I have been divorced and remarried, am the stay at home mother of one four year old daughter and two 7 year old cats. I write and draw, dabble in painting, both acrylics and photoshop. I have won several awards for my writing, including mod?s choice for at one chapter of the enclosed story on Elfwood, and mod?s choice for several chapters of other novels.
