George LoBuono
Bio: George LoBuono grew up amid the rivers and hillside of the Midwest, then moved to Northern California at age nineteen. There, he planted redwood trees amid clear-cuts and was stunned by the damage done to the few remaining slivers of ancient forest. After a few false starts at writing, he returned to college to study history and did free-lance reporting, then began to write poetry and short stories.
Author quote: "My life has been one of unexpected surprises, sharply defined by the before and after of travels to other countries, the beauty of love, and a rigorous introduction to the seemingly impossible. In all that we do, there is much more than meets the eye. Ultimately, our limits are self-imposed, often illusory."
