Bio: Kristi Sayles is an elementary teacher/freelance writer in a small town in Tennessee. She is married and has three children-ages 21,20, and 16. She has been a teacher consultant for the West Tennessee Writing Project for six years. Her story, The Day I Woke Up As An Ostrich, the lead story in one of her books, was a result of an assignment that she was given during her first session of the writing class. The rest of the collection in the book consists of original inspirational poems, thoughts, and short stories.
Kristi's successes in getting published have mainly been in the business success genre. She has had several articles published by national business magazines and ezines including Home Business Connection, Home Business Journal, Cutting Edge Opportunities, Inet Exec, Executive Update and others. "I like getting to know people who have rags to riches stories," Kristi says. "It's
inspiring!" Kristi has had articles published in The Plain Truth and Spirit-two religious magazines. She hopes to do more of that type of writing in the future. "It's who I am-a Christian." she explains.
"Although I still get excited every time I see my work in print, my most exciting event as an author came when I was selected to be a featured author for Scribe's World-my favorite writing site on the net. It was great to see MY interview posted there. It made me feel like a real writer!"
